The theme for our conference is Rise Up and Make Disciples! and we will be focusing on discipleship. Often, we think that making disciples is for paid clergy or ministry leaders and yet, as Christ-followers, we are all called to make disciples. This conference is for all women who have a desire to see others grow once they come to Christ. There are women in our lives who need the encouragement and growth that happens as we walk with the Lord.
But what does making disciples mean and what does it look like? Many are perplexed on how to begin. Lisa Vogan, our district Disciplemaking Ministries Specialist will be giving us some practical ways to do this no matter where we are and what role we play in the church. She will be sharing over 3 sessions during the weekend as well as giving plenty of opportunity for discussion and breakout sessions.
